When should I use Criterion 75 to treat my purple ash tree?

I was told fall and spring!

Answer:

When using Criterion 75 WSP Systemic Insecticide to treat trees, each 1.6 oz packet treats 24-48 cumulative inchese of trunk diameter. You could use this product once a year to treat a single tree if the tree is at least 24 inches in trunk diameter. Many people will treat very large trees in the Fall since it could take weeks or even a few months for the product to translocate all the way through the tree. If you only have one or two smaller trees, then a liquid concentrate will be more appropriate. Fertilome Tree and Shrub Systemic Drench is a great choice if you only have one small tree.
