I have read to not apply it if it will rain in 48 hours and other comments state that it should be watered after application. I have a puppy and children and want to make this safe for them to enter the yard.
Milky Spore Powder is not a chemical, therefore is completely safe for your pets and children to be around after applying it. Once you have completed the application, you should water in the powder in all of the treated areas for about 15 minutes so that it can fully absorb into the soil.
