Why does glue not adhere after Bora-Care treatment?

I have treated powder post beetles in oak and am now in process of building furniture with it, but where there are areas that were sprayed the glue just rolls up. Do I need to sand it before gluing?

Answer:

Yes, if the glue is not holding with the Bora-Care on the surface we recommended sanding before applying the glue.
