I read on the site that the grass needs to be dry for application and then watered. I did not see that in the bag and i applied after it rained so the grass was wet. Then I watered some more. How essential is it that the grass be dry for application?
For Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed and Feed 2, the manufacturer advises under Step 2 Apply on the product label to “Apply only when grass is dry”. The product does infact need to be watered in immediately following the application to dissolve the granules into the soiI. If needed a second application can be applied 2 months after the initial application.
