Will Bifen IT control biting green head flies on the beach if sprayed on sand/seaweed?

Answer:

Bifen IT should not be used near or around bodies of water, due to runoff and drift concerns.  You may consider trying Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate instead, as an alternative option.  One of the best features of Essentria IC3 is that it has no aquatic toxicity.  This means you can apply the product near or over water for spiders, mosquitoes and other water flying insects or water dwelling pests with no worries about harming aquatic life.  You can refer to the product label for a full list of target pests, and for complete application instructions.
