Will birds feeding on insects be adversely impacted after Bonide Systemic Insect Control application?

Answer:

Birds or other animals that would feed on insects would not be impacted by the Bonide Systemic Insecticide even if the insect crawled over that treated surface. Bees and butterflies however could be impacted by the insecticide should they get enough of it on their bodies or ingest enough of it from the plant. We highly recommend not using systemic insecticides on plants that are blooming if possible, or only apply sprays to non blooming parts of the plant to reduce the impact.
