Will Bonide Weed Beater Ultra kill wandering jew plants with blue flowers?

Somehow a wandering jew plant with pretty blue morning flowers have invaded my yard. I'm trying to save about 6 shrubs. I pull & they come back. It's INVASIVE. I want to pour weed beater on a cloth and massage the weed leaves. Will this harm the roots of my foxtail plants.
