Will Essentria IC treat booklice and springtails?

Answer:

Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate is not labeled for springtails. If you are wanting to use a natural product for springtail elimination, EcoVia EC is a great option. Please take a look at our Springtail Control Guide for helpful tips regarding springtail control.  The best way to control booklice is by lowering the humidity in the infested areas which in turn will help eliminate the mold and fungus these insects need to survive. Infested furniture and carpeting should be thoroughly steam cleaned and vacuumed. You can spray your furniture with Sterifab to get rid of any lingering insects. You cannot spray anything on books so for those we recommend you find a way to heat treat them with a device like the Packtite or you can seal them loosely into bins with Nuvan Prostrips.
