Will Ferti-lome Brush Killer and Stump Killer hurt my pine trees that are close by?

I cut 6 popular trees down and want to applyFerti-lome Brush Killer and Stump Killer to the stumps. I will drill 6-12 in deep holes. Will mix Fertilome with 3 gallons of diesel fuel and pour into holes. Will it kill my pines close by?

Answer:

As long as the desirable roots on the pine trees are not contacted by the Ferti-lome Brush Killer and Stump Killer, it would not harm them.  The active ingredient does not leach into the soil so it should only kill the stumps you treat.
