Will Gentrol Point Source make crickets non-consumable for my pet reptile?

I have Gentrol Point Source but I also have a reptile that eats crickets and I wanted to keep a supply of them on hand. Will the IGR make them non consumable for my pet since the IGR doesn't need to come in direct contact with insect to affect them? I have the one that looks like a birth control pill holder.

Answer:

Gentrol Point Source contains a juvenile growth hormone mimic that retards the growth of certain insects. Gentrol Point Source does not contain any type of poison and should not have any effect on your reptile.
