Glyphosate Plus Herbicide is labeled for partial control of Russian Olive and applied at 1.3 to 2.7 fl oz per gallon of water or at 2-5 qts/acre. For Russian Olive, the best time to apply is in late summer to early fall and for best results, apply as a full coverage spray to trunks, branches, limbs, leaves and foliage completely or cut the tree down to a stump for a stump treatment. Repeat applications may be needed to new shoots or new growth. Please review this article by managing Russian Olive by the Dept of Agriculture
