Will Gordons Ornamec 170 Grass Herbicide harm Floratam St. Augustine turfgrass that is mixed with some bermuda grass?

Answer:

Gordons Ornamec 170 Grass Herbicide is primarily to treat grassy weeds in landscape beds, ornamentals, flowers, etc and not labeled to be used on Floratam St. Augustine or other turfgrasses. It can be used to treat bermudagrass in zoysiagrass or tall fescue lawns.   Avenue South Broadleaf Herbicide for Turfgrass is labeled to control broadleaf weeds in Cool and Warm Season turfgrasses including Floratam St. Augustine, Common St. Augustine, and Bermuda. Please review the product label for the target weeds and application rates.
