No, Hi-Yield Soil Sulfur is not labled to control insects in lawns, plants, or shrubs. This is a mineral to help with the acidity in the soil, not an insecticide. Martins Viper Insecticide would be recommended for Chiggers and is effective on many other common insects. The mix rate for Martins Viper Insecticide is 1/2oz. per gallon of water and can be used as a spray treatment outside as a barrier spray around the perimeter of structures, to plants, bushes, trees, shrubs, etc.
