Will Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension kill grass and weeds in my ferns or cedar ground covering?

Answer:

You can use a product like the Hi Yield with Dimension or Snapshot DG to treat your flower bed areas with a pre emergent during spring and fall. This will help prevent new weeds from coming up to reduce the amount you will have to treat later during the growing season. Any grasses that are coming up can be controlled by a product like Fertilome Over the Top II mixed with a surfactant like the Hi Yield Spreader Sticker. Any broadleaf weeds growing in those areas would need to be hand pulled or carefully spot treated with roundup.
