Will Pylex Herbicide damage trees or shrubs?

I would like to use treatments of player to kill invading Bermuda in my TTTF. However the grass is near a large tree and a shrub. Would a treatment schedule of pylex kill the tree or shrub through root absorption?

Answer:

According to the Pylex Herbicide product label: you DO NOT want to apply to exposed feeder roots of trees or ornamentals or within the dripline of trees and other ornamental species. DO NOT use or leave clippings as mulch around flowers, ornamentals, trees, or in any vegetable gardens.
