Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran is not labeled for ticks at all and would not be recommended for control of them.
We would recommend treating the outdoors with something like Cyzmic CS and Archer IGR, the IGR will help to disrupt the life cycle of ticks, in this case. We do recommend re-treating every 30 days throughout the season to ensure a continued residual that will continue to kill ticks that come in contact with the treated surfaces.
