Will Tekko Pro Insect Growth Regulator get rid of small red and black ants?

Answer:

Tekko Pro Insect Growth Regulator is labeled for ants for both indoors and outdoor applications however needs to be tank mixed with a residual insecticide for eiliminating insects. IGR’s do not kill or eliminate insects when used alone, they only disrupt the growth cyle and reproduction.    Talstar P is labeled for ants at the rate of 0.5 fl oz to 1 fl oz per gallon of water and can be tank mixed with Tekko Pro Insect Growth Regulator for a 2 in 1 application.
