Tekko Pro Insect Growth Regulator is not labeled for Spider Mites and being an Insect Growth Regulator, would not have any killing qualities to it. IGR’s only help stop or inhibit the growth cycle of listed insects and should be tank mixed with an insecticide also labeled for the target insect. Talstar P would be recommended for Spider Mites as it works well for both the mature and the immature spider mites. Talstar P provides optimal spider mite control during Spring to mid-Summer when applied at the higher application rates and/or more frequent treatments at the lower rate.
