The Indoor Ant Kit would not be recommended for use in a car. We would first recommend that the entire be thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed to remove any food sources.  You can then use an aerosol product like Phantom along the crevices of the car where they are trailing, such as where the carpet meets the doors/dash etc. The Phantom is a delayed kill so it will get not only the ones that are coming in your car but also any other ants they come into contact with in their nest to eliminate the entire problem.
