I poured 16 oz of weed zone from its spray bottle into an ordinary sprayer because the original one didn't work. Forgot to mix with water and sprayed from hose without diluting. Then realized it and went and hosed my lawn for 1 1/2 hours. Will my St. Augustine grass die?
When Ferti-lome Weed Free Zone is mixed correctly, you should not water this product in after the application. In fact, it shold not be applied if rainfall is expected within 4 hours as it may lessen the effectiveness. Since the product was used off label and without being diluted, it is possible that your St. Augustine grass will be damaged if the application doesn't kill it. We would recommend to water it in as much as possible to try to save it.
