Your Q & A suggests 1/2" sprinkler/rain following application of Pendulum 3.3 EC Herbicide. Will 2-3" rain dilute application or possibly even make it ineffective?

Answer:

If you are expecting very heavy rains in a short amount of time, then we recommend waiting until after that rain to make your application of Pendulum 3.3 EC Herbicide so that your active ingredient doesn’t get washed away. Extra heavy rainfall right after application could cause some runoff and lead to uneven treatment and spotty weed control. If that 2-3” is over several days or weeks, then it should not upset your treatment. If the ground is very dry before application, then you may need to moisten the soil first so that you do not get pools of product. Conversely, if the ground is very saturated, then allow it to dry up some before you apply the product. Since this is a pre-emergent, the idea is to get the active ingredient into the soil evenly for best results.
